Yakushiji Ryouko no Kaiki Jikenbo

I finished watching the anime Yakushiji Ryouko no Kaiki Jikenbo or Ryōko Yakushiji’s Strange Case Files. I’m not sure with it’s official english name though. Anyway, this anime is like X-files in nature, solving paranormal cases by the heroine Ryouko Yakushiji with the help of his subordinateJunichirō Izumida.

I only read the first chapter in Mangafox website thus no background knowledge before watching the anime. The anime consists of 13 episodes. I’m not really satisfied with the ending and wanting to have a follow-up season but I don’t read any news about it; so I have to settle with it.

For those who want to watch anime that doesn’t have many episodes and people into paranormal genre, then you could give this a try!

BTW, I really ship Ryouko and Junichirō.

psych-facts:

It has been said that time heals all wounds, I do not agree. The wounds remain, in time, the mind protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue, and the pain lessens, but is never gone. - Rose Kennedy

psych-quotes:

Have you ever met someone and you were just like immediately attracted to them not even in a sexual way there was just something about them that you were drawn to and you really wanted to tell them and get to know them better but you knew they wouldn’t feel the same way so you just obsessed over them from afar. - Unknown

“There are plenty of others willing to call you a failure. A fool. A loser. A hopeless souse. Don’t you ever say it of yourself. You send out the wrong signal, that is what people pick up. Don’t you understand? You care about something, you fight for it. You hit a wall, you push through it. There’s something you need to know about failure…You can never let it defeat you.”

“He just kissed one of my bitches! Oh! I can’t believe I said that…. Can we have a nice venn diagram of Pine Bitches, maybe? Join forces! There’s no reason for them not to be friends….”

Currently reading Horimiya

I’m now in Chapter 7… and really rooting for Kyoko and Izumi! <3

I just finished reading Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (かれしかのじょのじじょう) or  Kare Kano (かれかの) for short.

Two days ago, I watched first few episodes of the anime. But I was unsatisfied so I decided to read the manga. And it was a good decision!

I learned many life lessons in the manga, especially the love and friendship. I deeply admired Yukino and Soichiro, as an individual and their relationship. In the future, I hope I could love and support my partner, like Yukino to Soichiro. They faced their ups and downs together. And their love for each other is unimaginable. I could say it’s true love.

I really want my own “Soichiro Arima”, not the superficial Soichiro during the first part. But these kind of guys, the “perfect” ones, existed in the manga. Or maybe I haven’t met many different men during my 20 years of existence.

I definitely recommend Kare Kano to those who believe in true love.

Finally done catching up Orange Marmalade

Currently, it has 83 chapters in Mangafox. Can’t wait for the next one!
